Bris va ser membre de l\u2019Alian\u00e7a d\u2019Intel\u00b7lectuals Antifeixistes per a la Defensa de la Cultura, organitzaci\u00f3 per a la qual va fer el seu documental sobre el II CIEDC. Entre els quals, l\u2019escriptor franc\u00e9s Andr\u00e9 Malraux, que apareix en el reportatge sovi\u00e8tic en el segon 33. En la seua vida professional va documentar la Guerra Civil Espanyola, les batalles de Moscou i Leningrad en la Segona Guerra Mundial, la Primera Guerra de la Indoxina i l\u2019ascens del comunisme al sud-est asi\u00e0tic.
